Episode 237

This episode is for you if you find your drinking is not what it used to be and you are questioning whether or not you should take a break from drinking.

In this episode, I will talk about what a break from drinking is  to give you a different perspective. I talk about how much time a break should be, and why quality vs. quantity matters most during your break.

I will talk about the five signs that it may be time to take a break from drinking in midlife and beyond, which are:

#1 Your Drinking Story seems more like fiction than non-fiction

#2 You Feel Yucky!

#3 You are embarrassed by saying or doing things you wouldn’t normally while sober.

#4 You are spending too much time and energy thinking about drinking and not drinking.

#5 You are scared!

I go into detail of why you may experience these signs, and how a break can help you work through each.
